Cricket Ireland in Talks for India Tour Before England Series

Cricket Ireland is hoping to host the Indian cricket team in 2026 for a series of matches.

This potential tour would happen before India goes to England for their own series.

Discussions have already taken place between Cricket Ireland officials and the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India).

Ireland's captain expressed concern about a lack of home games.

Cricket Ireland wants to improve its schedule and make the team more competitive, aiming to have more cricket in the future.

The last time India toured Ireland was in 2023, and the matches drew large crowds.
