MCB, JWCC and ICCA Launch Mumbai Conference Ambassador Programme
Jio World Convention Centre has started a programme to help bring more international conferences to Mumbai.
It will work with professional association members and industry experts in India.
These people will act as Conference Ambassadors.
They will help find conferences that could be held in Mumbai and support applications to host them.
The Maharashtra Convention Bureau and the International Congress and Convention Association will also support the programme.
JWCC will help with planning bids, marketing, site visits and presentations.
A grant may help cover eligible bidding costs.
The organisers say international conferences can spread knowledge, create professional connections and support the economy.
