Irfan Pathan advises Abhishek Sharma to pick deliveries
A former cricket player, Irfan Pathan, thinks a young player named Abhishek Sharma plays cricket with a lot of energy and isn't afraid of anything.
This is good, but sometimes Abhishek tries to hit the ball hard on almost every throw, even running forward to do it.
Irfan worries that other teams, especially in big games like the World Cup, might figure out this trick and stop him.
He suggests that Abhishek should be smarter and only go for the big hits when the ball is just right, instead of trying it all the time.
Irfan also mentioned that Abhishek's coach, Yuvraj Singh, who is also a famous player, will probably talk to Abhishek about this.
India is playing a very fast and exciting style of cricket lately, and they want to be ready for the World Cup.
Irfan Pathan has advised India opener Abhishek Sharma to be more selective about his attacking shots.
Pathan expressed concern over Sharma's tendency to step out aggressively on most deliveries.
He believes this ultra-aggressive approach might be predictable and exploitable by well-prepared teams in major tournaments.
Pathan suggested that Sharma's coach, Yuvraj Singh, will likely address this aspect of his game.
The comments come as India continues its ultra-aggressive batting strategy in T20 cricket under new leadership.
