Manipur MLAs meet in Delhi

The BJP MLAs from Manipur had a meeting in Delhi.

They talked about how to make Manipur peaceful and how to help the people there.

More than 30 MLAs were there, including two from the Kuki-Zo community.

They also talked about getting money from the central government to help with projects in Manipur.

There has been a lot of fighting between different groups in Manipur, and more than 260 people have died.

The central government took control of Manipur in February because the chief minister resigned.

The meeting was to figure out how to make things better in Manipur.

President Droupadi Murmu also visited Manipur and talked about peace and reconciliation between the Meitei and Kuki communities.

Meanwhile, members of the Meitei community protested in Delhi, demanding the safe return of internally displaced persons (IDPs) to their homes.

They said their houses were burned down and they are not being allowed to return.

They asked the government and the courts to help them go back home and rebuild their lives.
