Trump Launches Million-Dollar Visa Program
President Trump has started a new program called the Trump Gold Card.
This program helps rich people and companies get a special visa to live and work in the United States faster.
There are different types of cards: Gold, Corporate Gold, and Platinum.
Each card costs a lot of money.
The Gold Card costs $1 million plus a fee, the Corporate Gold Card costs $2 million plus a fee, and the Platinum Card costs $5 million plus a fee.
People can apply online at a special website.
The government will check everyone who applies to make sure they are eligible.
The money from the program will be used for important things in the country.
This program is meant to bring more money into the country and help businesses keep the workers they need.
Some people support the program because it brings in money and helps businesses, while others criticize it for going against traditional immigration values and Trump's hardline immigration stance.
Trump launched the Gold Card visa program on Wednesday, offering fast-tracked Green Cards for wealthy individuals and companies.
The program includes three tiers: Gold Card ($1 million + $15,000 fee), Corporate Gold Card ($2 million + $15,000 fee), and Platinum Card ($5 million + $15,000 fee).
Applications are processed through the website https://trumpcard.gov/, with background checks conducted by USCIS.
The processing fee is non-refundable, and additional fees may apply, including a 1% annual maintenance fee and a 5% transfer fee for Corporate Gold Card transfers.
The Platinum Card allows holders to spend up to 270 days in the US without being subject to US taxes on non-US income, but is not eligible for US citizens and resident aliens.
