Lok Sabha Introduces Four Key Bills, Including Tribunals Reforms

India's government leaders meet in a big room called the Lok Sabha to discuss new laws.

On Monday, they brought forward four new laws for the people's representatives to consider.

One law would set up a new group, called the National Tribunals Commission, to make sure special courts called tribunals work fairly and choose their members properly.

Another law would change the name of the Indian state of Kerala to 'Keralam', the name people there use in their own language.

A third law would change the rules about digging minerals like coal and metal out of the ground, and give the central government more say over some taxes on mining land.

A fourth law would let a group that helps farmers' cooperative societies give money directly to more organisations.

The leaders also shared reports about how different government departments are doing, like the Railways Ministry and the group that watches over fair business competition.

Some Opposition members were not happy and made noise during the meeting, but the bills were still brought forward.

These ideas still need more discussion and a vote before they can become real laws.
