Slice Launches UPI-first Banking Solutions in 2026
Slice, a digital banking platform, has introduced three new banking solutions in 2026 that are designed to make everyday finance easier and more transparent for Indian consumers.
First, they have launched a savings account that gives customers interest rates linked to the RBI repo rate, with interest calculated and credited daily.
Second, they have introduced a UPI credit card that allows customers to make payments using their approved credit limit at any UPI-enabled merchant, with benefits like cashback and no annual fees.
Lastly, they offer digital fixed deposits with high returns and regulatory protection, which can be managed entirely online.
These solutions aim to simplify savings, spending, and wealth creation within a single digital ecosystem, aligning with the evolving preferences of Indian consumers.
Slice launched a savings account linked to 100% of the RBI repo rate, with daily interest crediting and no minimum balance requirements.
The slice UPI credit card allows customers to make payments at UPI-enabled merchants using their approved credit limit, with up to 3% cashback and no annual fees.
Digital fixed deposits are offered with interest rates of up to 7.25% per annum and are insured up to Rs. 5 lakh by the DICGC.
All solutions are designed to integrate seamlessly into everyday digital behavior, with a focus on transparency, ease of use, and accessibility.
The offerings aim to address gaps in value, access, and simplicity in the Indian banking sector, catering to the evolving preferences of consumers.
