Ukrainians endure harsh conditions as Russia advances

In a city in eastern Ukraine called Kostiantynivka, people are having a very hard time.

Russian soldiers are trying to take over the city, and the residents are living in buildings that have been damaged by bombs.

It's winter, and they don't have much food or help because it's too dangerous for aid workers to come.

Some people, like Volodymyr, are staying to take care of family members.

They collect rainwater and try to make their homes comfortable.

Soldiers are also there, trying to protect the city.

The president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskiy, is talking to other countries for support.

The people and soldiers are determined not to give up their city, even though it's very difficult.

In nearby Dobropillia, elderly residents like Kateryna Lomova refuse to leave their homes despite the danger, showing their strong will to stay in their homes.
