FMGE 2026 Certificate Applications Open September 1; Exam Dates Updated
The National Medical Commission is opening applications for a certificate needed by some foreign-trained doctors.
Applications begin online at 10 am on September 1, 2026.
Students can apply until September 30, and one notice says applications close at 6 pm that day.
They should use the NMC application website, although the articles show two versions of its address.
Students who already applied for the certificate do not need to apply again.
A student must receive the certificate before taking the FMGE screening test.
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences has also announced an extra FMGE on October 31, 2026.
An examination previously planned for January 9, 2027, will be moved to another date in January or February 2027.
