Delhi’s NEEEV Module Promotes Entrepreneurial Thinking in Schools
The Delhi government has introduced a new program called NEEEV to teach students in Classes 8 to 12 about entrepreneurship.
This program includes fun activities like learning from successful people, giving motivational notes to friends, creating quick business ideas, and solving everyday problems.
For older students, it teaches how to start a business, make a product, get feedback, and grow it.
The program also includes a two-week project where students have to come up with a business plan and present it.
The goal is to help students think like entrepreneurs and be resilient.
The NEEEV program aims to shift students from rote learning to real-world problem-solving.
Activities include studying role models, giving motivational notes, creating business ideas, and solving everyday problems.
For Classes 11 and 12, the program teaches steps to build a startup, including defining a vision, creating an MVP, and collecting feedback.
Examples from companies like Zepto, Instagram, and Meesho are used to explain business concepts.
Students will participate in a two-week assessment called 'My Billion-Rupee Idea' to prepare a business plan and presentation.
