Sikh Woman Detained in Pakistan Amid Forced Conversion Claims

A 52-year-old Sikh woman named Sarbjit Kaur from India went to Pakistan for a religious trip.

She disappeared from her group and was later found to have converted to Islam and married a Pakistani man named Nasir Hussain.

Indian authorities and her family say she was forced to do this, but Sarbjit claimed in a video that she did it willingly.

She and her husband went to court in Pakistan to ask for protection, and the court said the police should not bother them.

Now, Sarbjit is being kept in a safe place in Lahore while the Pakistani government tries to send her back to India.

However, there have been delays, and no one knows why.
