IndiGo Flight From Kolkata Makes Emergency Landing in Chennai

A big airplane, flown by a company called IndiGo, was flying from the city of Kolkata to the city of Chennai.

Late at night, one of the plane's engines started having a problem and was leaking oil.

The pilot noticed the trouble and told the people who help planes land at the airport.

The airport got ready with fire trucks and doctors in case anything went wrong.

The plane flew around in circles for a little while so everyone could prepare.

When it was safe, the pilot brought the plane down gently and everyone landed safely.

There were 229 people on the plane, and nobody was hurt.

After landing, mechanics checked the plane and found it needed repairs.

A special group called the DGCA will investigate what caused the engine problem.

Even though it was scary, everyone was safe in the end.
