Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Catch MCOCA Accused in Karnataka After 6 Months

A 22-year-old man named Ambadas Raju Rathod was hiding from the police for almost six months.

He lives in Chikhali, which is near the city of Pimpri-Chinchwad in India.

The police wanted to catch him because he is accused of being part of a serious organized crime case.

He was charged under a special law called MCOCA and another law about hurting people with dangerous weapons.

During all those months, he kept moving to different places so the police could not find him.

The police used their special network of informers, people who secretly share information, to learn where he was.

They found out he was in Gulbarga district, which is in the state of Karnataka, about 400 kilometers away.

A police team traveled all the way there and set up a trap to catch him.

The police did not use any fancy technical tools for this operation.

Rathod is now in police custody, and the investigation is still going on.
