CEPT University Wins Global Building Simulation Competition Again
A team of students from CEPT University in India won a global competition for the second time in a row!
They designed a smart building that uses less energy and keeps the air clean.
The students worked on making buildings more efficient by using special designs that reduce the need for heating and cooling.
Their design also included solar panels and special materials that are good for the environment.
The competition challenged students to find solutions for a real-life building, focusing on how to make it sustainable and comfortable for people.
CEPT University won the Student Modelling Competition 2025.
The competition was part of the 19th Building Simulation Conference (BS2025).
The event was held in Brisbane, Australia.
Students focused on energy performance analysis and retrofit strategies for the Bundanon Art Museum.
Solutions included passive design, efficient HVAC, and solar energy.
