Waltair Division Sets New Freight Loading Record
Waltair Division of East Coast Railway loaded a record 50 million tonnes of freight in just 230 days, improving its position to the 5th top-performing division in India.
This is a 12.5% increase from last year and includes a monthly record of 7.10 million tonnes in October.
The division's success is attributed to enhanced traffic facilities and timely rake allocations.
