Italy Restores St. Francis Day as National Holiday
Italy has decided to bring back a special day off called St. Francis Day!
This holiday will happen every year on October 4th, starting next year.
It's in honor of St. Francis of Assisi, a very important person in Italy's history, known for his love of nature and helping others.
The holiday was first created a long time ago, then cancelled, but now it's back!
The government thinks it's a good way to remember what's important, like peace and helping others.
While it will cost some money for overtime, the holiday is expected to bring people together.
Italy's parliament voted to restore St. Francis Day as a national holiday.
The holiday will take effect from next year, marking the 800th anniversary of St. Francis's death.
