Delhi Police Prepare Plan to Block CJP Jantar Mantar Protest
Police in Delhi are getting ready for a protest at Jantar Mantar on October 10.
The protest is being organized by the Cockroach Janta Party.
It concerns the chief election commissioner and alleged problems with a voter-list review process.
Around 5,000 police officers are already in the district, and that number might grow.
Police say they are using lessons from a protest held in June.
That earlier protest called for Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan to resign over alleged corruption in public exams.
The article says he later quit.
Police believe their new preparations will avoid problems they saw last time.
