Waaree Energies Shares Cool After US Contract Win
Imagine a company called Waaree Energies that makes solar panels.
They just got a big order to sell a bunch of solar panels to a company in the US.
Because of this, the company's stock price went up the day before.
But then, on Tuesday, the stock price went down a little bit.
This might have happened because some people who had bought the stock decided to sell it to make a profit.
Waaree is also planning to make more solar panels in a factory they have in Texas.
Waaree Energies shares experienced a 1.35% decline on Tuesday after a rally.
The decline followed a recent 540 MW solar module supply contract secured in the US.
The contract is with a US developer for phased delivery in 2025 and 2027-2028.
The stock saw significant trading volume with more selling pressure than buying.
Waaree plans to double its Texas manufacturing capacity by the end of 2025.
