Two held for raping woman on Jabalpur university campus
A 22-year-old woman was tricked into coming to a university in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, with the promise of a job.
Two university employees, a clerk named Durga Shankar Singraha and a peon named Mukesh Sen, were involved.
The clerk kept telling the woman that a job interview was coming soon, and eventually asked her to meet at the peon's house on campus.
There, the peon left the room and locked the door, and the clerk allegedly raped the woman.
After the attack, the two men threatened her and told her to keep quiet.
The woman later told her family and the police, who arrested both men the same day.
The men are now in judicial custody.
