₹104 Crore Sidhi Road Washed Away Six Months After Construction

₹104 Crore Sidhi Road Washed Away Six Months After Construction

A new road in Madhya Pradesh cost ₹104 crore to build.

It was damaged after heavy rain fell for two days.

Water flowed strongly across the road and washed away a large part of it.

People said the road did not have proper drains to carry rainwater away.

Another nearby road was blocked by mud and stones falling from hills.

This stopped many night buses from running normally.

The road had made travel to Rampur Naikin nearly 30 kilometers shorter.

Officials have started drainage arrangements and repairs.
