Property Registrations Delayed Due to Builder-Authority Disputes
Imagine you want to buy a house in Noida or Greater Noida, but the paperwork is stuck.
The government says the problem is because builders and local authorities can't agree on some documents called NOCs, which are like permission slips.
The Minister in charge of registrations says his department is ready to register properties as soon as these NOCs are issued by the local authorities.
This means that until the builders and authorities sort out their issues, people who want to buy property have to wait.
The delay is because of disagreements, and the government's registration department is not the cause of the delay.
Ravindra Jaiswal addressed the media in Lucknow.
He stated that property registration delays are happening in Noida and Greater Noida.
The delays are due to disputes between builders and local authorities.
The disputes involve No-Objection Certificates (NOCs).
The registration department is ready to process registrations once NOCs are issued.
