BEE Urges SDAs to Promote Energy Efficiency
The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) is asking all state agencies to make special plans to tell everyone about saving energy.
They want to use TV, newspapers, and social media to explain why saving energy is good for the economy, the environment, and future generations.
This is important because they are preparing for a big event called the National Energy Conservation Awards in 2025.
The BEE's boss, Dhiraj Kumar Srivastava, said that making people aware of energy-saving tips and supporting government policies is very important.
They want to make sure everyone knows how to save energy and why it matters.
BEE urged SDAs to adopt an Exclusive Media Action Plan (MAP) for promoting Energy Efficiency and Conservation (EE&C).
The call comes ahead of National Energy Conservation Week (December 14 to 20) and NECA 2025.
BEE Director General Dhiraj Kumar Srivastava advised SDAs to prioritize public outreach using print, electronic, and social media.
The objective is to increase public awareness and educate citizens on the benefits of EE&C and reinforce ongoing policy initiatives.
The strategy aims to highlight the importance of EE&C for economic, environmental, and generational well-being.
