TGBIE Extends First‑Year Intermediate Admissions to Aug 15, 2026
The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education, which runs junior colleges in the state, said that students can now apply for first‑year classes until August 15, 2026.
This gives people more time to fill out their applications.
The board also reminded schools to show how many seats are available and how many are already taken.
They want everyone to follow rules about reservations and to use students’ grades to decide who gets a seat.
The board also said that schools must keep records of students’ identities and follow safety rules.
This change helps make the admission process clearer and fairer for all students in Telangana.
TGBIE extended first‑year intermediate admission deadline to August 15, 2026.
Extension applies to all TGBIE‑affiliated junior colleges, including government, private aided, private unaided, residential, welfare, and composite institutions.
Colleges must display daily seat status (sanctioned, filled, vacant) at their entrances.
Admissions are based on GPA, subject grades, and qualifying exam marks; Aadhaar submission is mandatory.
Special provisions include recording mothers’ names for Jogini children, anti‑drug declarations, and compliance with the Immigration and Foreigners Act, 2025.
