Made-In-India Nissan Magnite Achieves 5-Star Safety Rating
Imagine a car that's been tested to see how safe it is in a crash.
The Nissan Magnite, made in India, was tested by a group called Global NCAP.
At first, it didn't do so well, only getting 2 stars.
Then, the car company made it safer by adding more airbags and a feature called ESC.
After the changes, it was tested again and did much better, getting a 5-star rating for how well it protects adults.
This means the car is much safer now.
The car has other safety features too, like special seats for kids and a camera that helps you see all around the car.
Nissan Magnite, made in India, received a 5-star safety rating from Global NCAP for Adult Occupant Protection.
The initial test with two airbags and no ESC resulted in a 2-star rating for both AOP and COP.
Adding ESC and increasing airbags to six improved the AOP score to 4 stars in the second test.
In the final test, the Magnite scored 32.31 out of 34 for AOP, achieving a 5-star rating.
The upgraded Magnite includes six airbags, ISOFIX mounts, and a 360-degree camera.
