India-Pakistan Could Meet Six Times Across 2027 ODI Tournaments
India and Pakistan may play each other many times in one-day cricket during 2027.
The International Cricket Council has already scheduled one World Cup match between them.
That game will be played in Johannesburg on October 10.
They might meet again in the World Cup’s Super Seven stage.
They could also meet in a semifinal or the final.
The Asia Cup may create three additional chances for them to play.
This means there could be as many as six matches between the teams.
However, most of those games will happen only if both teams qualify and win enough matches.
The International Cricket Council confirmed an India-Pakistan group-stage match for October 10, 2027, in Johannesburg.
India and Pakistan are in World Cup Group A with Australia, Afghanistan, Zimbabwe and Qualifier A.
The teams could meet again on November 7 in Cape Town during the World Cup Super Seven stage.
A third World Cup meeting is possible if both teams reach the semifinals or final.
The Asia Cup could provide three more potential India-Pakistan ODI clashes, depending on format and results.
