Women Lead Solidarity Protest in Hyderabad

In Hyderabad, women and transgender activists organized a six-hour protest at Dharna Chowk, Indira Park, to show solidarity with the Jantar Mantar agitation.

They demanded the resignation of Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan and accountability for alleged examination irregularities and police action against protesters.

The protest included first-time participants like doctors who joined secretly, as well as experienced activists who have been part of various demonstrations.

The protesters also called for a wider overhaul of the education system, linking paper leaks to the growth of corporate educational institutions.

They emphasized the importance of continuous protest and solidarity, highlighting the persistence of young protesters who have been dismissed as 'cockroaches' but have become 'tigers' in their fight for justice.
