Fantastic Four: First Steps Movie Review: A Mixed Marvel Return
The Fantastic Four: First Steps is a new movie where a team of superheroes must save Earth from a giant planet-eating monster named Galactus.
The team includes Mr. Fantastic (Reed Richards), Invisible Woman (Sue Storm), Human Torch (Johnny Storm), and The Thing (Ben Grimm).
Sue is pregnant, which complicates things when Galactus wants their baby.
Some critics like the movie, especially Vanessa Kirby's performance, while others think the story and Pedro Pascal's performance as Reed could be better.
The movie is set in a retro-futuristic world and has a surprising post-credit scene.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps, directed by Matt Shakman, features Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach.
The movie's plot involves the Fantastic Four facing Galactus, a planet-devouring cosmic entity.
Sue Storm becomes pregnant, which adds an emotional layer to the heroes' fight against Galactus.
Galactus demands the heroes surrender Sue and Reed's child to spare Earth.
Reviews highlight varying performances, with Vanessa Kirby receiving praise and Pedro Pascal's performance being described as disappointing by some reviewers.
