Attacks Against Indians Abroad Highlight Disturbing Trend
Several attacks on Indian-origin people have recently occurred in different countries.
In Melbourne, a man named Saurabh Anand was attacked with a machete and seriously injured.
On the same day, in Adelaide, Charanpreet Singh was also assaulted.
Additionally, there were attacks in Ireland and Canada.
These incidents have caused shock within the Indian community.
Police are investigating these cases.
Saurabh Anand, an Indian-origin man, was attacked with a machete in Melbourne on July 19.
The attack took place near Central Square Shopping Centre in Altona Meadows.
Anand suffered severe injuries including a fractured spine and hand trauma.
Charanpreet Singh was attacked in Adelaide on the same day and received serious injuries.
Other violent incidents against Indian-origin people have occurred in Ireland and Canada.
