Pakistani Couple Detained After Crossing Border
A young couple from Pakistan, Popat and Gauri, ran away from their homes because their families didn't want them to get married.
They walked a long way, about 8 kilometers, to the border between India and Pakistan.
When they tried to cross the border, the Indian security forces, called the BSF, caught them.
The couple said they wanted to be together, but their families were against it.
This is the second time in two months that something like this has happened.
The authorities are still looking into what happened and haven't filed any official report yet.
A Pakistani couple, Popat (24) and Gauri (20), crossed the India-Pakistan border on foot.
They were detained by the Border Security Force (BSF) near pillar number 1016 in Gujarat's Kutch district.
