Whirlpool Mauritius Sells 11.23% Stake in Whirlpool of India
Whirlpool Mauritius, which owns a big part of Whirlpool of India, sold some of its shares.
They sold 11.23% of the company for ₹1,489.60 crore.
This is part of a bigger plan by the American company Whirlpool Corporation to own less of the Indian company.
After this sale, Whirlpool Mauritius now owns 39.77% of Whirlpool of India.
