New Moradabad-Aligarh Expressway Promises Faster Travel, Spurs Land Acquisition

New Moradabad-Aligarh Expressway Promises Faster Travel, Spurs Land Acquisition

A new road is being planned between Moradabad and Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh.

The road will be about 150 kilometres long.

It will be widened from two lanes to four lanes.

Officials hope this will make trips much faster than they are today.

The road will have special entry and exit points instead of openings at every village.

Motorcycles and three-wheelers will not be allowed to use it.

Land from villages in Moradabad and Aligarh will be acquired, and owners are expected to receive compensation in their bank accounts.

The road could also connect travellers to the Ganga Expressway and routes toward Agra.

The project may bring more warehouses and development, while changing how some local land is used.
