J-K Police Crackdown on Overground Workers After Delhi Blast
Imagine there was a big problem in Delhi, like a blast.
The police in a different region, Kashmir, are trying to make sure no one helps the bad guys who might have caused it.
They went to many houses and checked cars to find people who help these bad guys, called 'overground workers.'
Some people were taken to police stations and told to promise they won't cause trouble, while others were put in jail for a little while.
They also looked at people who were previously accused of serious crimes but are now out on bail, and some of them might lose their bail.
The police are doing this to keep everyone safe and make sure there's peace.
J-K Police conducted raids in Baramulla, Pulwama, and Shopian districts following the Red Fort blast.
The operation targeted overground workers (OGWs) associated with subversive networks.
20 OGWs were bound down, and two were taken into preventive detention.
Police examined two individuals on bail under UAPA and bound one down under preventive law.
Eight bailed UAPA accused were identified for bail cancellation, with two submitted to court.
