Bihar Election 2025: Voters Can Now Find Polling Booths Online
Bihar is getting ready for a big election in 2025!
People will vote to choose who leads their state for the next five years.
It's like choosing a captain for your team.
The BJP party wants to stay in charge, while a team called the INDIA bloc, which includes other parties, wants to win.
Many people will be voting for the first time, and they're excited to help decide.
To make sure everyone can vote easily, you can now find your voting place, called a polling booth, online.
You can visit a government website or another portal, enter your voter ID, and it will show you exactly where to go.
You can even download a special slip with this information.
If you can't go online, you can ask a local election helper or visit an election office.
Most of the voting places are in villages, showing how important everyone's vote is to shape Bihar's future.
The 2025 Bihar Assembly elections are scheduled with the first phase on November 6 and the second on November 11.
Voters can find their polling booths and download booth slips online through the Election Commission website or the NVSP portal.
Bihar's voter list has been updated, resulting in 7.24 crore registered voters, a reduction of nearly 60 lakh.
In the first phase, 3.75 crore people will vote, including 10.72 lakh first-time voters, choosing from 1,314 candidates.
The majority of the 45,341 polling stations for the first phase are located in rural areas.
