WazirX to Revote Amended Scheme Following Singapore Court Order
WazirX is asking users to vote again on how they will get back money lost last year, as ordered by a court in Singapore.
The vote starts July 30 and ends August 6.
This new vote is about an updated plan to help users recover around $234.9 million in lost assets.
An independent group will check the votes.
The update helps WazirX's India branch, Zanmai, give out tokens.
If the plan is approved by users and the court, WazirX will restart and allow withdrawals.
WazirX will hold a revote on its arrangement scheme starting July 30, as directed by the Singapore High Court.
The revote is for an amended scheme to help users recover stolen assets.
The scheme addresses the $234.9 million loss experienced last year.
Voting results will be independently verified and shared after closure on August 6.
The amended scheme updates facilitate access to token distribution by Zanmai, WazirX’s India entity.
