Coforge independent director resigns amid board governance turmoil

Coforge independent director resigns amid board governance turmoil

D.K. Singh has left Coforge’s board.

He was an independent director, which means he was expected to make decisions separately from company executives.

Singh said recent events made it harder for him to do that job.

He also mentioned that Bhatt had resigned earlier in the week.

Singh joined the board in 2024.

At that time, Coforge was moving from a private-equity-led board toward a more independent board.

He said this change created disagreements and tension.

He also said new board members could change the company’s priorities.
