ISKCON Temple Plans Grand Krishna Janmashtami Festival Celebrations

ISKCON is preparing a large festival for Krishna Janmashtami.

The celebrations are scheduled from September 2 to 4, with the biggest programmes on September 4.

Visitors will hear stories about Krishna and watch music, dance and theatre performances.

Children will act out stories such as Kaliya Daman and Radha-Krishna Leela.

Special worship ceremonies will include Kalash Abhishek, Maha Abhishek and Maha Aarti.

The temple will offer 56 Bhog, with about 100 kinds of food.

A covered area has been built to hold around 41,000 people at a time.

Cameras and drones will be used to monitor the festival area.

The reports differ on whether the temple is in Bengaluru or ISKCON Dwarka.
