Railways Orders Immediate Action on Drinking Water After CAG Report

The Indian Railways runs the big train system in India.

Sometimes the water people drink on trains or at stations is not clean enough.

A special report, called the CAG report, pointed out problems with the drinking water.

The CAG is an important government office that checks how things are working.

After reading this report, the Railways decided they needed to fix things right away.

The Railway Minister, Ashwini Vaishnaw, had a big meeting about the water issue.

He met with other important railway leaders and spent the whole day talking about it.

After the meeting, they told the people in charge to make the water cleaner quickly.

Now the Railways will work hard to make sure everyone has safe drinking water.
