Man Dies By Suicide After In-Laws Demand Property
A young man in India killed himself because his in-laws were demanding he give his wife property to get her to return home.
He and his wife had some problems after their wedding and she went to live with her parents.
He tried to get her back but her family made demands he couldn't meet.
He made a video before taking his life explaining what happened.
Police are now looking into the situation.
A 21-year-old man in Basti, Uttar Pradesh, died by suicide.
His in-laws allegedly demanded transfer of property to his wife for her return.
The man recorded a video before taking the extreme step.
He married Khushi on April 22; she later went to her maternal home and did not return.
Police are investigating and legal action will follow.
