India Prepares for Potential 'Op Sindoor 2.0'
Lieutenant General (retired) Dushyant Singh spoke about Operation Sindoor, which was India's response to a terror attack in Pahalgam.
He said that Operation Sindoor was successful in showing Pakistan's weaknesses and asserting India's dominance.
However, he also mentioned that India needs to improve its narrative-building and cyber warfare capabilities.
Singh warned that another conflict, called 'Operation Sindoor 2.0,' is not just possible but inevitable.
He suggested that India should prepare for this by increasing defence spending, creating new commands for cyber and cognitive warfare, and better using the Indian diaspora to spread positive messages about India.
Air Marshal Nagesh Kapoor, who was awarded for his leadership during Operation Sindoor, also spoke about the need to stay prepared for future conflicts.
Operation Sindoor was a targeted military response to a terror attack in Pahalgam, aiming to destroy terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and POK.
Lieutenant General (retired) Dushyant Singh warned that 'Operation Sindoor 2.0' is inevitable due to Pakistan's continued focus on Kashmir with support from China and Turkiye.
Singh highlighted the successes of Operation Sindoor, including a doctrinal shift, tri-service synergy, and political clarity translating into military precision.
He identified shortcomings in narrative-building, cyber warfare, and information warfare, emphasizing the need for improvement in these areas.
