Nashik Schools to Set Up Kumbh Cells for 2027 Mela
The big Hindu festival called Simhastha Kumbh Mela will happen in 2027 in Nashik.
The local authority wants schools to set up special offices called Kumbh Cells.
These offices will help students sign up as volunteers, learn how to help pilgrims, keep the area clean, and use social media to spread good messages.
Students can sign up online by scanning a QR code.
The authority says that students’ enthusiasm will make the festival a success.
NTKMA directs Nashik schools to create Kumbh Cells for the 2027 Simhastha Kumbh Mela.
Students can register as Kumbhdoot volunteers by scanning a QR code online.
Kumbh Cells will coordinate volunteer training, environmental campaigns, crowd management, and digital outreach.
Institutions must nominate a nodal officer and provide contact details to NTKMA.
