Anakapalli MP Pledges More Support for Persons with Disabilities

Anakapalli MP CM Ramesh spoke at a programme for people with disabilities.

He said governments should help them live independently and with dignity.

He said special camps could find out what equipment each person needs.

That equipment might include machines, spectacles, or other helpful devices.

Ramesh encouraged people to explore government support and bank loans to start small businesses.

He also said the possibility of electric tricycles would be examined.

At the event, 52 three-wheelers were given out in the first phase.

District Collector Vijaya Krishnan said six Bhavita Centres help children with special needs learn and develop.
