Court Orders FIR Against Woman for Extortion

A court in Delhi has ordered the police to file a case against a woman who accused a businessman, Samir Modi, of rape.

The court looked at their chat messages and found that the woman might have been trying to extort money from Mr. Modi.

The court was not happy with the police for not acting on Mr. Modi's complaint earlier and for arresting him quickly in the rape case.

The court said the woman's complaint was made before the rape case was filed, so the police should have investigated it sooner.

The woman had asked for Rs 50 crore to settle the matter.

Mr. Modi's lawyers said their relationship was consensual, and she was trying to extort money from him.
