Kohli's Retirement and ODI Future
Priyank Panchal, a former cricket captain, thinks it's great that Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have decided to stop playing T20 and Test matches.
He believes this is good for the 50-over cricket games because now these two famous players will only play in ODIs.
This makes the ODI format more exciting again.
Panchal shared this idea on a social media platform called X. On the other hand, Allan Donald, a former South African pace bowler, thinks Virat Kohli retired from Test cricket too early and misses him in the Test arena.
Donald believes Kohli has the hunger to keep playing till the 2027 ODI World Cup.
He praised Kohli's work ethic and training habits, saying no one trains as hard as him.
Donald also talked about the upcoming T20 World Cup and the progress of the SA20 league, expressing confidence in its future growth.
