Minister Orders Uninterrupted Coal Supplies for Thermal Power Plants

Minister Orders Uninterrupted Coal Supplies for Thermal Power Plants

The government wants coal companies to keep sending enough coal to power stations.

Coal is used by some power stations to make electricity.

The Coal Minister said supplies must not stop.

He said 28 power stations have low coal stocks right now.

He asked companies to produce and move more coal quickly.

He also gave special instructions to Singareni Collieries Company Limited.

Singareni said it is already supplying coal under its agreements.

The goal is to help keep electricity generation running as power use increases.
