Avinash Veeraraghavan’s Fever Dreams Explore The Fragments Of Self
Avinash Veeraraghavan has made an art exhibition called Fever Dreams.
Three of the works are lithograms, a type of print.
They use a strong orange color that can make viewers pause and feel as if they are entering a dream.
The artworks may look like separate pictures at first.
However, they also seem to be pieces of one larger picture.
Looking closely reveals smaller pieces inside the works.
Stepping back makes those pieces look different.
The exhibition asks people to change how they look at art and think about it.
The Fever Dreams exhibition features works by Avinash Veeraraghavan.
Three works in the exhibition are lithograms dominated by orange tones.
The intense orange color is described as creating a dreamlike passage into the unconscious.
Although the artworks appear individualistic, they also seem to be fragments of a larger image.
The exhibition encourages viewers to shift between close and distant perspectives, seeing the works as objects and thoughts.
