Indonesia Bus Crash Kills 16
A bus in Indonesia had a very bad accident.
It was carrying 34 people, but sadly, 16 of them died.
The bus lost control on a road, hit a big concrete barrier, and then tipped over onto its side.
This happened very late at night on Monday.
The people who help in emergencies are working to take care of everyone.
It's a very sad event, and we hope the families of those who were hurt or lost are okay.
Some people are still in the hospital, and five of them are in really bad shape.
A passenger bus carrying 34 people crashed in Indonesia’s main island of Java just after midnight Monday, killing 16 passengers.
The bus lost control on a toll road, struck a concrete barrier, and rolled onto its side.
The bus was traveling from Jakarta to the ancient royal city of Yogyakarta when it overturned at a bend at the Krapyak toll way in Central Java’s Semarang city.
The forceful impact threw several passengers and left them trapped against the bus body.
18 victims are being treated at two nearby hospitals, including five in critical condition and 13 in serious condition.
