US Accuses Cuba of Interfering with Diplomat
The United States and Cuba are having a disagreement.
The US says that Cuba is making it hard for their top diplomat, Mike Hammer, to do his job.
People in Cuba shouted at him and called him names.
The US says Cuba is trying to scare them, but Cuba says the diplomat is causing trouble.
The US president, Donald Trump, has also said Cuba is a threat and might put tariffs on countries that help Cuba.
This is all part of a long argument between the two countries that started a long time ago.
The US accused Cuba of interfering with the work of its top diplomat, Mike Hammer, after he was heckled during meetings.
The State Department demanded that Cuba stop sending individuals to interfere with Hammer's diplomatic work.
President Trump declared Cuba a threat and threatened tariffs on countries that deliver oil to the island.
Cuba's government accuses Hammer of trying to cause unrest, while the US denies these charges.
Tensions between the US and Cuba have increased due to Cuba's economic crisis and US pressure.
