Qualcomm Unveils Dragonwing IQ-X Series for Next-Generation Industrial PCs
Qualcomm has created a new computer chip called the Dragonwing IQ-X Series, designed especially for factories and big machines.
These chips are super tough and can work even in really hot or cold places.
They have a smart brain called the Oryon CPU that makes computers run very fast.
The chips also have a special part that can understand artificial intelligence (AI), which means machines can learn to do things better, like predicting when they might break.
This makes it easier for companies to build smart factory equipment that can upgrade and fix itself, saving them time and money.
Qualcomm announced the Dragonwing IQ-X Series processors for industrial PCs.
The processors are engineered for PLCs, HMIs, edge controllers, panel PCs, and box PCs.
The IQ-X Series features the Qualcomm Oryon CPU, with scalable configurations and up to 45 TOPS of AI performance.
It is designed for harsh operating conditions with an industrial-grade temperature range of -40°C to 105°C.
The platform supports various operating systems and industrial add-ons, along with built-in AI capabilities for predictive maintenance and defect detection.
