Heli Daruwala Reveals Elegant Surat Home With Gujarati Hinchko
Heli Daruwala showed people her family home in Surat.
The house has two floors and mixes modern design with Gujarati traditions.
A special wooden swing called a hinchko sits between the living and dining areas.
Heli said this swing is one of her favourite places in the house.
There is also a temple area with paintings of Radha and Krishna.
The home includes a bright living room, dining area, large kitchen, bedroom, and teal bathroom.
A terrace garden has plants, fruits, and another swing.
Design experts said many people now prefer lasting and meaningful decorations instead of simply buying more things.
Actor-dancer Heli Daruwala shared a tour of her expansive two-storey family home in Surat.
The house combines contemporary minimalism with Gujarati cultural details, including a wooden hinchko and a home temple.
Its main living area includes beige sofas, large windows, an entertainment unit, plants, and a Lord Shiva idol.
The home features a spacious kitchen, minimalist bedroom, teal-walled bathroom, and terrace garden with another swing.
Design experts Khyathi and Manish Jetwani said luxury increasingly emphasizes authenticity, craftsmanship, longevity, and meaningful objects.
