NDDB to Establish Milk Unions Across Arunachal River Basins
The government, with the help of NDDB, is starting groups called milk unions and federations in Arunachal Pradesh.
These groups will help farmers who raise cows by assisting them in selling milk.
They plan to start in areas near the Lohit River.
The aim is to help the dairy industry grow and open up new possibilities for everyone involved.
NDDB will establish milk unions and federations in Arunachal Pradesh.
Five milk unions are planned, corresponding to river basins.
Lohit, Namsai, and Lower Dibang Valley districts are the initial focus.
A state milk federation will be formed at the apex level.
